OUR MISSION
Our mission is to continue Bishop Dorsonville’s legacy by advancing the work he started while he was here on earth. This includes bringing hope and necessity to the poorest communities and those without homes in Washington, DC. Additionally, we advocate for hispanic immigrants and actively work to help them overcome adversity. Our mission also extends to promoting priest vocations and support for seminarians. We strive to work with the same tireless energy that Bishop Dorsonville poured into his many ministries.

VOCATIONS
“By serving the poor, the voiceless and the invisible, we will always be enriched by God’s love.”

“The bishop also lived that message [accompanying those in need], going on one Sunday a month with a group of Catholic young adults to bring supplies like food and sleeping bags to the homeless in Washington, D.C., and more importantly, treating them as friends, learning their names and praying with them.”

“It is really about connecting, about building relationships, and being a source of hope.”

“I have learned over the years that for a Christian, there are no final goodbyes. Rather, only a hope-filled, “Until we meet again.”
